The Trumansburg Junior Color Guard is the feeder program for the Trumansburg Senior Color Guard. The Junior Guard was formed in 1984 and is comprised of 6th, 7th and 8th grade students from the Trumansburg Middle School.

The 2005 Jr. Guard won the silver medal in the Novice Class at the Mid York Championships. In 2006, the guard accepted the challenge of moving up to the Scholastic Regional A Class, where they placed 10th.

For 2007, the Jr. Guard moved laterally into the Independent Regional A Class, as they are a sharing services with a neighboring school district.  A Silver Medal made for a rewarding season.

The guard is sponsored by the Trumansburg Central School and the Trumansburg Color Guard Boosters. Staff for the 2008/2009 season includes Dennis Morris and the recent addition of Amy Kilpatrick.

The guard program is sponsored, in part, by the Trumansburg Central School District with increasing reliance and support on the Color Guard Boosters, our parent organization. If not for them, neither guard would be here today. We thank you for your continued efforts and support to raise the necessary funds to sustain our program; and we thank our families, friends and community members and businesses who have generously donated money and/or purchased items through our fundraising.
